STI-PEP / Doxy-PEP
"Morning-after pills" to reduce risk of sexually transmitted infections
Men and trans women who take two capsules of the antibiotic doxycycline 100 mg within 24-72 hours after unprotected sex with a man can reduce the risk of gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis.
We recommend that men keep some on hand, just in case.
We recommend the telehealth practice QCare Plus (www.qcareplus.com) for doxy-PEP and PrEP (HIV prevention). If QCare Plus doesn't work for you, please text us at 904-257-6411 or send a message to mail@julie-graves.com and let us know you are interested in doxy-PEP. I can prescribe doxycycline for prevention of STI (sexually transmitted infections) for you. Let us know your local or mail-order pharmacy.
Our fee is $25 sent by CashApp, Venmo, or Paypal.
The prescription will be for 50 pills and 5 refills.
We recommend routine (every three months or more often as needed) testing for HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. You can seek these at a local health department, doctors office, urgent care center, by telehealth, or at a minute clinic in pharmacies.
At this time, doxy-PEP is not recommended for women and trans men.
If you live in or are traveling in Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin,
I can prescribe for you.
